Volunteering can be a brilliant way to boost your mental wellbeing. It’s a great feeling knowing you’re helping young people get skills for life, and you might even learn a lot about yourself along the way.

No experience required, all training included

Scouts can make you feel good in other ways too. We’ll guide you to an opportunity where you’ll:

  • Make friends and meet people
  • Try new things and challenge yourself
  • Get outdoors and get stuck in
  • Positively impact your community
  • Create vital opportunities for young people
  • Make memories that’ll last a lifetime

If you can only occasionally help, that’s OK. Whether you’d like to be an activity planner, tea-maker or craft creator, we appreciate any time you can spare.

Open positions

Scout leader

We are urgently looking for another scout leader to join our group as we have leaders who have been with us for a long time, stepping down into other roles. Scouts is where the adventure ramps up, so if you enjoy bushcraft, hikes, camping and adventure, please get in touch.

Beaver leader

We are planning to open a new Beaver colony after the summer on Tuesday afternoons, 17:00 – 18:15. This is only possible if we get a new group of volunteers to support us. Parents are more than welcome to join with their beavers. Training and support will be from the Group lead who runs scout on the same night, as well as our Thursday Beaver leader.
